We at Cedarwood Veterinary Hospital are taking steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19, while still taking care of our patients.  During these uniquely challenging times, we keep the health and safety of our patients, our clients, and our team members as our Number One Priority. 

We are a locally owned and operated veterinary practice. We were born and raised in these mountains.  Our clients and team are part of our extended family who we see every day in and out of our hospital. We take great pride in being a part of a community with so many great people and their pets. Every step we take, we take with the goal of delivering the best care possible to the community. 

Cedarwood Veterinary Hospital is open during the pandemic. If our clients need us, we are going to be here, as always. That said, we are taking every precaution possible. Some will be noticeable, while others will be going on behind-the-scenes.

First, we are doubling down on cleaning. The exam rooms, equipment, waiting areas, walls, doors, and many other areas are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected between clients. Because this is an important step, don’t be surprised if you see one of our veterinarians pushing a mop or cleaning a chair or a door.  

Second, we offer scheduled telemedicine consultations for our established clients who have internet access to video conferencing. We do this in order that you may remain at home in your safe haven.

Third, we are minimizing the number of people in our lobby at one time by selective appointment scheduling, check out in exam rooms and, call ahead prescription refill pick up in the parking lot or dropbox, if requested. 

Fourth, We have an online pharmacy to help you while you stay at home and safe.  This service will allow you to order medications and dog and cat food without leaving your house. 

Last, we have always honored special requests and looked for ways to help serve immunocompromised, disabled and geriatric clients.  We will continue to do this. We want to keep everyone safe. Please call our office, for any questions at 423-623-4362.
