I hope this note finds you and your family, safe and well. Cedarwood Veterinary Hospital remains open during this COVID-19 pandemic to continue to help the animals and our clients. I have implemented several changes to try to keep everyone safe. In addition to intensified disinfecting protocols and strategic staffing. I am asking you to take certain steps in order to prevent a gathering of people in our lobby as per the CDC COVID-19 guidelines.
We will not take walk-in appointments at this time. Don’t worry, we will when this threat has passed.
Call ahead for food and prescription refills so that your order will be ready when you arrive. You will be asked for a specific time when you will pick up the items. Call us from your vehicle when you arrive to pick up medications. If at all possible, please provide a form of payment before you arrive. Remember, we also have an online pharmacy available through our website: https://cedarwoodvet.com/
When you arrive for your appointment, stay in your vehicle, and call us to ensure we have a disinfected exam room ready for you and your pet. Please bear with us. We are trying to keep everyone safe.
If you have respiratory symptoms, please stay home, and arrange for someone else to bring your pet in, if it is sick.
If your pet was scheduled for an elective procedure and you are sick. Please call and reschedule for a time when you are well.
I have been a veterinarian for well over 20 years. I have a responsibility to treat the animals, which I love, in our great community. But, I also have a responsibility as a health professional to implement protocols to help keep my clients, my team, and the general public as safe as possible.
Please feel free to call 423-623-4362 with any questions or email me personally at email@example.com. You can also visit our website https://cedarwoodvet.com/ for more information.
